1. Passing the JLPT N4/JFT A2 exam
2. Passing the Specific Skilled Worker test of the field in which you are applying for. -

Yes, you need to submit "Contract termination notification" document to the Immigration office.

It is possible to change your visa into Tokutei Ginou without having to go back to your country.

it is possible but you will have to pass the field's SSW exam.

Is it possible to stay in Japan for more than 5 years with Tokutei Ginou visa?

Tokutei ginou visa has a 5 year limit.
However, it is possible to extend your stay by changing into other visa which has different requirement. -

Tokutei Ginou (SSW) exam is not available in my country. What should i do?

Either you come to Japan and take the exam here or take the exam in other country where it's available.

Yes. You can even take job in other field if you passed the exam but you will have to update your visa.

Yes. However, if you are in Japan the application can be done by our staff but we will need your passport and resident card.

① Employment insurance card (雇用保険被保険者証)
② Pension book (年金手帳)
③ Tax witholding slip (源泉徴収票)

Can i bring my family to live with me in Japan?

A: Tokutei Ginou (No.1) visa does not allow you to bring your family.
You can bring your family if you upgrade your visa into Nurse visa (Kaigo) or Tokutei Ginou (No.2) visa after you finish the 5 year period.
